Ghana is now ranked 58th in the globe and 11th on the continent, while the Super Eagles are ranked 35th globally and fifth in Africa.

Despite rising three spots in the most recent FIFA world rankings, Ghana still does not rank among the top 10 African sides.

The Black Stars, who were ranked 61st in the most recent rating before the World Cup, are now in position 58.

However, the Black Stars’ World Cup effort was unsuccessful when they were eliminated from the competition in the group round.

The West Africans, who were placed in the same group as Portugal, South Korea, and Uruguay, only managed one victory.

The team led by Otto Addo managed to defeat South Korea but fell to Portugal and Uruguay, finishing last in the group.

They are still behind opponent Nigeria, whom they defeated in the playoffs to secure their spot in Qatar, despite what their performance in Qatar appears to have done to their FIFA world ranking.

The highest-ranked African team is Morocco, which advanced to the World Cup semifinals and is currently rated eleventh.

Senegal is ranked 19th, Tunisia is 30th, Cameroon is 33rd, and Nigeria is 35th, correspondingly.

The newly-crowned world champions Argentina is in second place, followed by France and Brazil in the FIFA world rankings.
